Banks News in Capital Market

  • SHAHJABANK: Registered Office of the Company has been shifted to its own building at Shahjalal Islami Bank Tower, Plot # 4, Block – CNW (C), Gulshan Avenue, Dhaka-1212 with effect from August 27, 2017.
  • ALARABANK:: Registered Office of the Company has been shifted to its own premises at Al-Arafah Tower, 63 Purana Paltan, Dhaka-1000.
  • BRACBANK: Board of Directors of the Company has decided to off-load 1,034 shares of BRAC IT Services Limited (biTs) (a Subsidiary Company of BRAC Bank Limited) in favor of BRAC. After off-loading the above shares, BRAC IT Services Limited (biTs) will not remain a Subsidiary of BRAC Bank Limited.
  • FIRSTSBANK: Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) vide its letter dated August 27, 2017 has given its consent for raising of capital of the Company amounting to Tk. 450,00,00,000.00 only through issuance of 2nd Mudaraba Subordinated Bond for the enhancement of Tier-II Capital as per the requirement of BASEL-III. Price of the Bond is Tk. 10,00,000.00 only per unit.
