Dhaka Bank PLC. Hosts Awareness Program on Sustainable and Green Finance
Dhaka Bank Training Institute (DBTI) in collaboration with Sustainable Finance Unit (SFU) successfully organized a day-long event titled “Awareness Raising Event on Sustainable and Green Finance, Green Refinance Schemes, Climate Finance, ESRM Guidelines and Sustainable Finance Reporting” at its premises. The program aimed to deepen institutional understanding of sustainable finance practices and strengthen climate action efforts within the banking sector.
A total of 31 participants from various Divisions, Units, and Branches of Dhaka Bank PLC. attended the occasion.
Mr. Mukarram Hossain Chowdhury, SEVP and Head of CRM Division of Dhaka Bank PLC., inaugurated the event.
The program featured a robust schedule of learning and discussion, including sessions on the overview of sustainable finance, green refinance schemes, climate finance, ESRM guidelines, and sustainable finance reporting through resourceful personnel of this field. The event concluded with a feedback session, marking a significant step forward in the bank’s commitment to promoting green and sustainable banking practices across its strategy and operations.
