For its excellence in reporting, Dhaka Bank has received Certificate of Merit Award in the 14^th ICAB National Awards for Best Presented Annual Reports 2013 organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). This is a continuous success of the Bank in the high-profile competition of annual reports and accounting at national level. In an award ceremony at Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka Mr. Niaz Habib, Managing Director of Dhaka Bank received the award from Honourable Finance Minister Mr. Abul Maal Abdul Muhith on November 30, 2014. Mr. Shakir Amin Chowdhury, SEVP, Foreign Trade, Mr. Darashiko Khasru, EVP, CFO & Head of Finance & Accounts, Mr. M. Sohel Shahriar Akhand, VP & In-charge of R&D Unit along with a number of officials of the Bank also attended the ceremony. The event saw a good number of dignitaries from government, banking and financial sectors of the country.
