Dhaka Bank Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Meena Bazar, a concern of Gemcon Group, on February 16, 2015 at the Head Office of the Bank. Meena Bazar is one of the largest retail chains in Bangladesh. They have 18 outlets, of which 16 are in Dhaka. As per the MoU, all Credit & Debit Card holders of Dhaka Bank will enjoy 5% Cash Back facilities on every purchase from any of the Meena Bazar outlets. A grand joint promotional campaign will start on March 1, 2015. Deputy Managing Director of Dhaka Bank Limited Mr. Emranul Huq and Chief Operating Officer of Meena Bazar Mr. Shaheen Khan signed the MoU on behalf of their respective sides. Mr. Niaz Habib, Managing Director of the Bank, Mr. Firoz Alam, GM, Finance & Accounts along with other senior high officials of both the organizations were present.
