Annual Managers’ Conference for the year 2011 of Dhaka Bank Limited was held on 16th January 2011 at Ball Room, Dhaka Sheraton Hotel, Dhaka. Mr. Reshadur Rahman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dhaka Bank Limited inaugurated the conference as Chief Guest.

Branch Managers, Head of Divisions/Units from Head Office attended the program. The Conference reviewed overall progress of the year 2010 and chalked out various programs for achieving yearly target for 2011. Dhaka Bank will open a number of branches in the year 2011. Besides Corporate Banking, special emphasis will be given on Retail Banking included Credit Card, SME Banking, Global Transaction Service, Capital Market Services, Islamic Banking Offshore Banking etc. while Mr. Khondker Fazle Rashid, Managing Director of Dhaka Bank Limited presided over the conference. Among others, Founder & Former Advisor Mr. Mirza Abbus Uddin Ahmed, Former Chairman A.T.M. Hayatuzzaman Khan, Vice Chairman Mr. Mohammed Hanif, Directors Mrs. Afroza Abbas, Mrs. Rakhi Das Gupta, Mr. Tahidul Hossain Chowdhury, Mr. G M Shameem Hussain. Apart from these, Deputy Managing Directors Tanweer Rahim and Mr. Neaz Mohammad Khan were also present on the occasion.
