Mr. Tanweer Rahim, a professional banker recently joined Dhaka Bank Limited as Deputy Managing Director. Prior to his joining he was Senior Executive Vice President & Head of Marketing of Bank Asia Limited, where he joined in February 2001 and worked as Manager, Scotia Branch.

After Graduating with honors from the University of Dhaka, Mr. Rahim started his career with AB Bank Limited in 1984 where he worked till June 1990.

He also worked with American Express Bank from July 1990 to December 1998 and during the time of leaving he was Director of Corporate Banking. He also served with Bank of Nova Scotia as Senior Account Manager & Head of Corporate Banking from January 1999 to February 2001.

He attended various workshops / training programs both at home and abroad.
