Leading Industrial Mr.Altaf Hossain Sarker has been elected as the Chairman of Dhaka Bank Limited in the 134th Board Meeting held on April 21, 2008. He is also a sponsor shareholder of the Bank. Mr. Sarker is the CEO of the different units of RAHMAT GROUP, which includes Rahmat Textiles Limited, Rahmat Spinning Mills Limited, Rahmat Plastics & Accessories Limited, China Plastics (BD) Limited and Rahmat Composite Mills Limited. He is a member Trustee of Independent University Bangladesh (I.U.B), Director of Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) and Director of Express Insurance Limited as well. Mr. Sarker is the founder members of Board of Trustees of Dhaka Bank Foundation. He is also the sponsor of different Socio cultural activates.

Mr. Mohammed Hanif has been elected as the Vice Chairman of Dhaka Bank Limited in the 134th Board Meeting held on April 21, 2008. He is also a sponsor shareholder of the Bank. Mr. Hanif is the Director of Hanif Steel Mills Limited, Hanif Spinning Mills Limited, National Foundry and Engineering Works (Pvt.) Limited and Asif Enterprize. He is also one of the founder members of Board of Trustees of Dhaka Bank Foundation and member of Audit Committee of the Bank. He is also associated with different socio cultural activates.

In addition, Mr. Abdul Hai Sarker, Mr. ATM Hayatuzzaman Khan, Mr. Khondoker Monir Uddin, Mr. Md. Amirullah, Mr. Aminul Islam, Mr. Abdullah Al Ahsan, Mr. Jashim Uddin, Mr. MNH Bulu and Mrs. Hosna Ara Shahid have been elected as new members of the Board of Directors of Dhaka Bank Limited.
