The two-day long SME Financing Fair 2014 organized jointly by Bangladesh Bank and SME Foundation has begun on November 12, 2014 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka. In response to urgency of funding small and medium scale industries, Dhaka Bank has participated in the fair setting up a flamboyant stall in league with 41 banks and 16 FIs. The Bank joined the occasion to showcase its financial recipes enriched with tailor-made products and services for SME entrepreneurs. The Honourable Finance Minister Mr. Abul Maal Abdul Muhith inaugurated the SME fair as Chief Guest while Honourable Governor of Bangladesh Bank Dr. Atiur Rahman along with other distinguished guests were present in the event. After the inaugural session, the Finance Minister Mr. Abul Maal Abdul Muhith accompanied by the Bangladesh Bank Governor Dr. Atiur Rahman visited Dhaka Bank stall in the fair. The visiting dignitaries were welcome by Mr. Niaz Habib, Managing Director of Dhaka Bank, Mr. Khan Shahadat Hossain, Deputy Managing Director, Operations and Mr. Sirajul Hoque, Executive Vice President and Head of SME Unit.
