An agreement signing ceremony was held on March 24, 2016 between Dhaka Bank Limited (DBL) and Dhaka Power Distribution Company Limited (DPDC) at the Head Office of DPDC, Dhaka.

Mr. Emranul Huq, Deputy Managing Director (Business Banking) of DBL and Md. Munir Chowdhury, Joint Secretary to the Govt. & Secretary, DPDC signed the agreement on behalf of the respective organizations.Under this agreement, Dhaka Bank will be able to collect bills from DPDC customers through its branches
all over the country.

Mr. Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO of Dhaka Bank, Brig Gen. Mr. Nazrul Hasan (Retd), Managing Director of DPDC along with other high officials of both the organizations were present on the occasion.
