An agreement signing ceremony was held on July 28, 2016 between Dhaka Bank Limited (DBL) and Dhaka Electric Supply Co. Limited (DESCO) at the Head Office of DESCO, Dhaka.

Mr. Emranul Huq, Deputy Managing Director (Business Banking) of DBL and Mr. Md. Engr. Zulfiquar Tahmid, Company Secretary of DESCO signed the agreement on behalf of the respective organizations.

Under this agreement, Dhaka Bank will be able to collect bills from DESCO customers through its branches all over the country.

Among others, senior personnel of both the officials namely, Mr. Syed Akhlaque Hossain, SVP & Branch Manager (Mohakhali Branch), Mr. Khandaker Anwar Ehtesham, SAVP & Head (Communications &Branding Division), Mr. Shams Hakim, Senior Officer (Communications & Branding Division) of Dhaka Bank Limited and Mr. Md. Rofi Uddin, ED (Finance & Accounts), Engr. Shamim Ahsan Chowdhury (Superintendent Engineer – ICT), Mr. Md. Abdul Halim, (Manager – Banking), Mr. Md. Alamgir Hossain (Manager Corporate Accounts), Mr. Md. Abu Yousuf (Manager S&D Accounts) of DESCO were also present on the occasion.
