Dhaka Bank PLC. has inaugurated a booth for collection of Holding Tax and Trade License Fees of the residents and business owners of Dhaka South City Corporation at Nagar Bhaban. The inauguration ceremony was held at Nagar Bhaban on July 02, 2025 where Mr. Sheikh Abdul Bakir, Deputy Managing Director, Dhaka Bank PLC and Mr. Md Shahjahan Mia, Administrator, Dhaka South City Corporation formally inaugurated the collection booth. Dr. Md. Zillur Rahman, Chief Executive Officer, Dhaka South City Corporation, Mr. Md. Moniruzzaman, Chief Revenue Officer, Dhaka South City Corporation, Mr. Mosleh Saad Mahmud, Head, Liability & Cash Management Unit, Dhaka Bank PLC and other senior officials of both the organizations were also present at the inauguration ceremony.

From now on the residents and business owners under Dhaka South City Corporation will be able to pay Holding Tax and Trade License Fees physically at the newly established booth of Dhaka Bank PLC.

In addition, holding taxes and fees of Dhaka South City Corporation can also be paid on real-time basis from any branches of Dhaka Bank PLC. Dhaka Bank has already enabled the residents of DSCC to pay fees and taxes online on real-time basis from anywhere through Dhaka Bank Mobile App and Internet Banking from the end of January 2025.
