Dhaka Bank Limited participated in SHOWCASE BANGLADESH 2014 on 14-16 November, 2014 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as the Platinum Sponsor. The Bank made its vibrant presence in the fair with a well-decorated Stall and tailor-made products & services for foreign investors. Sponsor Shareholder & Former Chairman of the Bank Mr. A.T.M. Hayatuzzaman Khan and Director Mr. Altaf Hossain Sarker were present in the inauguration program of the event. Mr. Md. Shakir Amin Chowdhury, SEVP, Foreign Trade and Mr. Faisal Omar, SVP & Head of Global Trade Services (GTS) were also present in the event. SHOWCASE BANGLADESH 2014 has become the most exciting event for the 3^rd time in Kuala Lumpur, organized by Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BMCCI) in collaboration with the Bangladesh High Commission in Kuala Lumpur and other trade bodies in Malaysia. The prime objective of Showcase Bangladesh 2014 is ‘Branding Bangladesh’. Through this international trade fair, BMCCI wish to establish Bangladesh as a lucrative business hub, highlight the increasing diversity of our economy, contribute in reducing the trade gap between Bangladesh and Malaysia and promote bilateral trade between the two countries.
