Dhaka Bank Limited recently donated Tk.5 Lacs to one of the famous singers and composers of Bangladesh Mr. Lucky Akhand Ali as a part of Corporate Social Responsibility of the Bank. The cheque was handed over to Mr. Akhand at United Hospital by the Direcotor Mr. Khondoker Jamil Uddin and Managing Director & CEO Mr. Syed Mahbubur Rahman of Dhaka Bank.

Mr. Akhand was diagnosed with grade-IV lung cancer back in 2015. At present, he is admitted at United Hospital, Dhaka. He was admitted to BIRDEM Hospital after he returned from his visit to Bangkok on March 25. Mr. Akhand mentioned that he had spent all of his money for chemotherapy, and as a result he is having a hard time continuing his treatment
