DHAKA BANK ACCOUNTHOLDERS CAN MAKE INSTANT FUND TRANSFER TO BKASH ACCOUNT VIA INTERNET BANKING

Dhaka Bank Limited signed an agreement with bKash Limited for facilitating the internet banking customers of the Bank to make instant fund transfer to any bKash accounts via web and mobile app.

Mr. Ziaur Rahman, Senior Executive Vice President & Head of Corporate Banking of Dhaka Bank and Mr. Moinuddin Mohammed Rahgir, Chief Financial Officer of bKash signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations at the Corporate Office of Dhaka Bank.

Mr. Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO of Dhaka Bank and Mr. Kamal Quadir, CEO of bKash were present at the signing ceremony. Among others, Additional Managing Director Mr. Emranul Huq, Deputy Managing Director Mr. Md. Shakir Amin Chowdhury, SEVP & Head of IT Mr. A.M.M Moyen Uddin of the Bank and Chief Marketing Officer Mr. Mir Nawbut Ali, Chief External & Corporate Affairs Officer Major General Sheikh Monirul Islam (Rtd.) and Chief Technology Officer Mr. Mohamad Azmal Huda of bKash along with other officials of both the organizations were present at the signing ceremony.

To transfer the fund from Dhaka Bank account to bKash, Dhaka Bank accountholders have to login to their internet banking (i-banking) account via internet banking or mobile app. Then they have to select the ‘add beneficiary’ option to put the account number of the bKash customer. After that they need to select the ‘pay to bKash’ option to complete the transaction by putting the name of the beneficiaries and amount to be transferred. Both Dhaka bank account holder and bKash customer will receive SMS notifications once the transaction is complete.

Dhaka Bank and bKash will not charge any fee on their customers for the transactions.
