Dhaka Bank PLC has entered into a strategic partnership with Rancon Cars Limited, the official distributor of Proton in Bangladesh, through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on Thursday, November 27, 2025.

The MoU was signed and exchanged by Mr. Md. Mostaque Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Emerging Market Officer of Dhaka Bank PLC, and Mr. Muhammad Mostafizur Rashid Bhuiyan, Executive Director of Rancon Cars Limited, on behalf of their organizations. Mr. H. M. Mostafizur Rahaman, SEVP and Head of Retail Business Division of Dhaka Bank PLC, Mr. Md. Redwanul Bari, Head of Finance and Accounts of Rancon Cars Limited, and Ms. Anusha Khalid, Head of Sales of Rancon Cars Limited, along with other senior officials from both organizations, were present during the signing.

Under this partnership, customers purchasing Proton vehicles, including the Proton X90 Flagship (6-seater), Proton X90 Premium (7-seater), Proton X70 Premium (5-seater), and other flagship models, will receive access to Dhaka Bank Auto Loans with exclusive facilities, preferential interest rates, special vehicle prices, and value-added offers. Customers will be able to apply for Auto Loans at a special annual rate of interest and enjoy enhanced purchase benefits.

The agreement aims to facilitate a seamless and hassle-free auto financing experience for customers, enhancing convenience while promoting wider accessibility to premium automobile ownership. This partnership reinforces Dhaka Bank’s commitment to delivering innovative retail banking solutions and strengthening its footprint in the consumer finance segment.
