Annual Mangers’ Conference 2009 of Dhaka Bank Limited was held on March 11, 2009 at The Westin Hotel. Mr. Khondker Fazle Rashid, Managing Director presided over the Conference. Branch Managers, Head of Divisions, Units of the Head Office attended the program. The conference reviewed overall progress of the year 2008 and chalked out various programs for achieving yearly target for 2009. Dhaka Bank will open a number of branches in 2009. Besides Corporate Banking, special emphasis will be given on Retail Banking including Credit Card. SME, Global Transaction Services, Capital Market Services, Islamic Banking, Off shore Banking etc.

Mr. Altaf Hossain Sarker, Chairman inaugurated the conference. Among others, Mr. Mirza Abbas Uddin Ahmed, Founder and Former Adviser, Mr. Abdul Hai Sarkar, Director and Founder Chairman, Mr. ATM Hayatuzzaman Khan, Director and Former Chairman, Mr. Mohammed Hanif, Vice Chairman, Mr. Reshadur Rahman, Sponsor Shareholder and former Director, Mr. Mohammad Abu Musa, Mr. Tanweer Rahim and Mr. Kaiser Tamiz Amin, Deputy Managing Directors were present on the occasion.
